I have a "broken" remote that has died long before it's time.

My Marantz remote has had multiple button failure, making it almost useless for everyday use.

I opened it up and found that the remote DOES still work fine, but that the BUTTONS that make contact on the circuit board have lost thier conductivity. So pressing a button does not short the contacts and register a key stroke.

I wrapped the end of a q-tip in foil and pressed directly on the circuit board and it works fine.

I read somewheres once about a repair for this, a type of coating that can be reapplied to rejuvinate the pads on the remote, anyone have any experience in this area, or what it is I need to get? I've called a few places and done a search, (even at REMOTECENTRAL.com) and could find nothing on the topic.

Thank You
