I have tried the kickstart method but the Video_TS folder will not show no matter what I do. Any other ideas??
I take it you just add the drive letter in the add window
i.e. D:\ or do I need to add the folder also i.e. D:\Video_TS
D:\ if that root of your DVD but you need Soft DVD player but a a bug I wait for the next builder.

OK
After getting nothing to show up last night the Video_TS directory shows up today. However when I try and play I get the following error message on both commercial discs and my own home made discs.
There was an error with the MPEG-2 video setup
Could not connect DVD Navigator subpicture output to decoder subpicture input
errcode - 0x-7fffbffd
My setup is a PVR-250, Elecard decoder with Dscaler (no double refresh)

Update.
I changed the decoder to the Cyberlink (PowerDVD) and DVD playback works. Switched back and it won't work... Seems that DVD playback will not work with the Elecard decoder. Shane because I like the PQ of that decoder with Dscaler activated.

FYI - Elecard can't do DVD playback. It doesn't support CSS decryption.

To Narflex:
I know SageTV's DVD support is still beta, but do you think you could add an option in the next build to chose one decoder for "normal" TV and a second for DVD playback. It's no big deal for me to enter detailed setup to change decoders but it would be a deal breaker for my wife.

justme, try selecting 'Default' for both. It could end up defaulting to a different one for TV & DVD, and those might luckily be the ones you want to use.
This option will be added later to specify them separately.
