View Full Version : Girder OSD blanks out the videoframe

I use Girder's on-screen-display to display volume as it changes. I have it set to "transparent", which means the green bars indicating volume should appear over the screen without any sort of background to obscure the videoframe.

Previously this worked fine. Undert his build, it seems, it sometimes, but not always, causes a white box to appear where the volume bars were. This white box does not go away until I do something drastic like change the channel.

EDIT: correction: if I hit enter to bring up the toolbar, then the white box goes away when the toolbar does.

Update: seems likely that my problem was due to shift from Radeon 7500 using overlay to Radeon 9600 using VMR.

I just converted my OSD from the built-into-Girder Simple OSD to the plugin, "XP OSD". Problem solved.
