Hi
I actually figured this one out but I thought Id post the solution in the hope I can save others some brain ache.
I noticed that the live TV guide started to come up all NO DATA. Finally I tried removing the TV card source and adding it again and now found that the xmltv.XMLTVImportPlugin was not on the list that u normally get when setting up the EPG service.
anyway.. the prob was that about a week before a little update box had appeared on my computer offering to instal an updated version of the Java Virtual Machine. Liking to keep up to date I click OK. Now this installed a new version in parrellel with the old one. The old version had the Xerces XML parser but the new version didnt. On the next reboot the OS registered the new JVM as the default one and that was what SAGE was trying to use.
The solution was simply to put the xerces.jar in the lib/ext folder of the new JVM.
hope this saves somebody some time one day!!!
