SageMC - somtimes won't skip forward

Once in awhile when I view a recording I can't skip forward. When I hit the skip ahead buttons (either of them, which are set for 10 secs and 2.5 minutes), the recording just begins playing from the beginning again - as if I had I hit the skip back button.

This has only happened with shows I've watched at least once and I'm using the older SageMC.

Even after stopping/starting Sage and rebooting the computer, etc. it just won't let me skip ahead in the recording.

Anybody else seen this behavior and/or know a solution?
