Just noticed that, if I were to set the "always on top" option for SageTV in full-screen mode, the PVR 250 remote control doesn't do anything. Once I turned it off, everything was back to normal.

Where is the "always on top" option located? Not sure if this is my problem, but my remote stopped functioning completely after somehow deleting my capture device.

I setup my PVR-250 again and all is well aside from the remote... which is non-functional in Sage, but works fine in WinTV2000.

Any help is appreciated.

Oh. It's in the title bar when it's not in full-screen mode.

'course, you could be having the same problem I did with irremote.ini not updating automatically when I installed SageTV as well. Check c:\windows\irremote.ini to see if it has [SageTV] entries. If not, that's the problem.

Here's the one I'm using -- File itself is "modded" to make the green power button wake up SageTV. ('cause of file extension limits, it's a .txt -- rename to .ini and restart IR to get it to work.)

I replaced the irremote.ini file with the one in the previous post. Then exited Sage, restart IR, open Sage TV... and remote is once again functional.

Thanks Ducky!

:goodjob:

Now, to modify my pronto to do exactly what I want, and I am all set...

Great.:) I Just got back from vacation, and was about to post to ask if you had got this fixed yet. Very glad to hear you're up and running again.

PS:Thanx for posting the Pronto CCF file for the Gray PVR remote on SHS's site several monthes ago. I'm using it with my PDA. I'm hoping that by using SageTV Ver1.4.7's Schedule dump and NetRemote, I can kind of piece together a "smart" remote for SageTV. Now all I should need is the actual EPG Data(I'm considering using XMLTV for the PDA's guide data for now) to make my PDA into a TV guide/remote.
