If you upgrade to PowerDVD to version 5 for $15 (which is good until 7/31/03), it now supports DirectXVA unlike version 4 which seems to support a select group of cards.

Just FYI for those who own PowerDVD.... :)

I've been using PowerDVD 5 exclusively for DVD watching for the last couple of weeks. On my setup, it is providing a better picture than any of the other DVD programs, including WinDVD and my previous player of choice - Zoomplayer with the old Ravisent filters from the ATI DVD player 7.6, Plus, they have inplemented what they call CLPV - a non-linear stretch to watch 4:3 AR DVDs on a 16x9 television, and it works really well. I'd recommend the upgrade.

Now, Jeff you need to implement a non-linear stretch similar to PDVD, and the world will be a wonderful place! :)
