View Full Version : Not recording sound?

I was using 1.4.5beta and noticed that many of the files have no sound recorded in the file. If I bring it up in Sage, the file doesn't play or it plays with no sound.

Version 1.4.7 was just installed so I don't know if it does it either. It was something that just started happening after I installed PowerDVD 5.

Any suggestions? With the exception of installing PowerDVD 4.... :)

It also seems to sometimes not display a dialog box if I attempt to change the channel in the middle of a Favorites recording. The program appears to lock up, but hitting <ESC> returns it to normal.

I have had sound problems with recordings after removing or adding external disks to my pc's USB or Firewire buses while recording was taking place. Moving to beta 21188 of the drivers for the PVR250 seems to have fixed that problem.

A newer beta was just released, I believe it is 21199 and should be available at either ftp.hauppauge.com or maybe the shspvr.com site.
