Adjusting IR emitter timings

I have an Actisys emitter that I use to control a Motorola DCT2000 cable box thorugh the SageTV application. As I noted in the feature request thread this is a fairly slow solution, taking around 1-2 seconds to change channels every time the channel up/down button is pressed.

I tried to speed up the interval betwen IR commands in the setup dialog, but the new settings don't seem to stick. Every time I restart SageTV the settings revert back to the default.

If you make the changes in the MotorolaDCT2000.ir file, then they'll stick for sure. It's in your Common\RemoteCodes directory.

Sorry if this sounds stoopid, but which value in the ir file do you change to speed up the channel change.?
