Ive been lurking on these and other forums just trying to get as much info as possible on setting up an htpc. This weekend i decided to put some hardware together to give it a try. so...

815 intel MB
850 celeron (overclocked)
radeon 9000
win-tv radio card

i have it all hooked up with a fresh install of XP pro. and i cant see the video in Sage TV. I hear the audio just fine, but when i press live tv i get a java error: cant load directshow filters, or something about an audio stream not intializing.

I can however see and hear the video in the hauppauge tv application.

Has anybody had any luck with this card? i dont see it as being supported by sage tv. So maybe im just out of luck...

SageTV only supports HARDWARE encoding (aka the Hauppage PVR-250/350).

Your card will not work with SageTV as it does not do hardware encoding. Sorry.
