View Full Version : Shows not listed in "Sage Recordings"

Running RC2 beta.

I have a number of recordings from today that are not showing up in my "Sage Recordings" list.

Not sure why though!

They exist in the recording directory, and are correct size. The recordings LOOK like they completed successfully. I have also tried exiting and reloading SageTV a few times. No luck.

What can cause this? Any easy way to 'kick start' it?

Oops. Just noticed the other thread with the same problem.

I'll try changing the setting in the properties file and report back (will be later though - currently recording stuff).

Nope. I made the change in the properties file and then exited and reloaded SageTV, but I still have a number of recordings, specifically from today, that are not showing up in the "Sage Recordings".

Any other thoughts?

UPDATE:
Looking in my sage log file, I see it at least MENTIONS a couple of the files that it is not listing in "Sage Recordings". For a few of the files I know for sure it is not showing, there are entries in the Sage log file like:

Wed 8/20 20:05:34.574 Deleted media segment file D:\TV\LawOrder-Trust-100331-1.mpg
Wed 8/20 20:05:34.574 Deleted media segment file D:\TV\Seinfeld-TheLittleKicks-100822-1.mpg
Wed 8/20 20:05:34.574 Deleted media segment file D:\TV\That70sShow-EricGetsSuspended-99388-1.mpg
Wed 8/20 20:05:34.594 Deleted media segment file D:\TV\That70sShow-LoveWisconsinStyle-99389-1.mpg

BUT, these seem to be perfectly good files. Not sure why it doesn't like them...

Check your Video Library, see if they're in there.

Also, please post the entire log file for that excerpt you gave.

Thanks.

Yes, they were in the "Video" library section. Don't know why I didn't look there, I knew that is where it now put 'errant' shows... Would be interesting to know why it put brand new recordings in there though.

Here is the full log file.
