Jmeeks,

Thanks, that worked great!!!

New problem!

SageTV was unable to connect to the SageTV Server. Please ensure that you have an Internet connection established.

Once again, Mr. Firewall blocking my path I suspect! I ready to ditch the SBS2000, it's a real PITA.

But if someone has a work around, I'm all ears!

Eddie

If you are running ISA as your firewall on your SBS server, then this is probably blocking your connection to the SageTV Server.

Page 41 in the SageTV PDF manual says that you'll need to open up Port 7760 for TCP/IP on your firewall.

OK thanks for the reply.

Maybe a manual download would be a good thing.

IF ONLY I COULD FIND IT!

Hello, SAGE could you provide a link?

Maybe make it a little easier to find it.

Maybe put a link on the software download email you provide.

Thanks,
Eddie

The manual is accessible by going to Start > Programs > Frey Technologies in your windows start menu :)

Our if you are away from your computer, it's accessible at http://www.sage.tv/download.html

Thanks Dan, it was a late and I was computing, maybe to late. :D
I avoid installing software on my HTPC, i.e. Acrobat, so I use my laptop for such uses. Overlooked the manual on the download page. Will try again this evening.

Thanks,

Eddie
