Since I upgraded some of the buttons on my mvp remote moved like the menu button is there an easy way to put them back before my wife kills me???

The MVP remote should be set up like the default SageTV configuration for that remote that is listed in the v4.1 manual.

If you wish to change the button assignments, simply go to Detailed Seup -> Commands -> Link...Command.

Andy,

Is there a way to imprt / copy the old settings from my SageClient.properties file? Where are the Media MVP extender remote key mappings being stored now?

Thanks,
John

Slightly OT but....

Can I use my 45 button remote with the MVP (from the Sage store it appears the S-MVP ships with the older silver 35 button remote). Also, for any that use a universal remote, is the remote code 1408? I guess I'm assuming all the MVP's have the same IR receiver...

Can I use my 45 button remote with the MVP (from the Sage store it appears the S-MVP ships with the older silver 35 button remote).I don't know which remote it ships with from the SageTV store, but it is configured to use either remote -- I have both Hauppauge remotes & they both work.

Also, for any that use a universal remote, is the remote code 1408? I guess I'm assuming all the MVP's have the same IR receiver...The IR receiver is pretty much the same thing as on the PVR-250, in that it can only decode a particular IR protocol (RC5). The remotes are the same as the ones that come with the Hauppauge PVR tuners, so if your universal remote has a code for that remote, it will work.
