SageMC Theme Question

Hey, I know this is probably irrelivant... but has anyone a clue what the difference between Bluemyst and Bluemyst mod themes are in SageMC?

I don't think there are two Bluemyst's available in SageMC, but I think I know what you are talking about.

Blue Two Steel, and Blackmyst Mod show the same thumbnail when choosing themes (Themes 3 and 4). There is a big difference, if you've actually tried them out.

Blackmyst Mod is one that I did for one of the themes, however, I do not have a widescreen TV, and therefore, did not provide a thumbnail (or preview) image of what it looks like. I was hoping mlb would do this, but for now, he has just left it out. That is the reason that it shows the same image for two different themes. They are vastly different...

:D I figured you just forgot it, but wasn't sure. I would have done it myself, but thought it would look more uniform if you did it on your machine.

Guess we'll wait until V11.

Here's some vital information about those two themes (or anything based off of them)...

It seems that in the MyTV search they are missing a V in the letters.

also in the Series Title search (maybe others too) they are missing an I.

I am sober this morning so i waited to post it here. Works fine with the BlueTwo though...

Makes it impossible to find david letterman =\ hehe... I'll be using bluetwo for now... let me know if you guys get that fixed =)

Here's another weird thing that's happening with me.

If I try to search by title for a series to record it doesn't ask me all of the important stuff (ie: FirstRuns / Rerun settings, Specific channel settings, etc.) I have figured out a way to make it work by choosing one of the showings and selecting "Advanced Recording." That allows me to choose those options.

Am I doing something wrong, I want to say it worked for the first couple, but I'd have to reinstall sage to find out?

This is with any theme... just for clarification.

I think this is the standard operation. I've always had to go into "Series Settings" or "Advanced Recording" to adjust those settings. I am not sure why it defaults to just showing the basic settings first, but usually, as long as the show that you want to record isn't already on, it gives you the option of going "advanced" on the next page...but it's been a while since I tried.

I used MP for a while, before I got my HTPC built, and it wasn't stable at all. I think it's gotten better over time, but you are right, they have some sweet "skins" for it. The only bad thing about porting them over to Sage, is that the image locations are fixed inside of each STV, so just porting the skin over to a theme in SageMC, does not make it look anything like the MP layout, just the images look the same. So, sometimes, depending on how the MP images were done, they can overlap and what not...

You figured it out. This is something I came to like from MCE. You can quickly add the series with the default recording options then modify it later in the Series menu or you can do an Advanced Record and do it before you create the series.
