View Full Version : Problem Deleting Shows

If I watch a show as it is being recorded, I have a problem deleting it once it is done. If I try to just delete the program, it looks as if it is going to, and then fails. If I re-watch the show (I just have to select it for watching and then return back to the guide).

Attached is the log file, sagetv_0.txt is when I tried deleting the file after the show was complete and sagetv_1.txt is when I tried deleting the file from the Guide (and then watching the show so I could delete it).

I'm running RC2.

OK, so the attachment didn't take. Evidently, when you preview your post it removes the attachment. I will try to reproduce the problem tonight.

The one that failed is because it was still recording it while you tried to delete it. There were 2 shows with the same name in the guide. You probably got those mixed up....

The first attempt was immedately after the recording was finished (I played the show "off the end" and on to the next show). The first attempt to delete the show was at 22:25:34, and the show was finished at 22:25:00. There was a second episode of the show being broadcast immendiately after the first (but this happens every time I try to delete a recording that I was watching while it was being recorded). The second attempt was at 22:40:52, a full 15 minutes after the end of the show. It wasn't until I selected the show for watching (at 22:41:07) that I was able to finally delete the show (at 22:42:09).

If you would like, I can send you another snapshot from a different program tonight.

Ahhh, thanks fidget. Now I see what was going on. I fixed this for a later release. It won't be in 1.4 because that's already done.
