DVD Playback (files)

Is there a way to play .vob files through Sage? (i.e. backups or DVD rips)

If I select DVD, it informs me there is no file in the drive, but I would like to be able to select the .vob or .ifo files from the hdd...

is this possible?

If you rip the DVD and have it in a video_ts folder with all the appropriate files from the DVD, then SageTV will import that folder and its contents as an entire DVD.
