Hi
I'm thinking of brigning two linux boxes to my home setup. One Sage server and one file server. But then why would I need two boxes to do that ? The sage server in mode 0 has low hardware requirements, there should be no problem in sharing the machine for both.
Now the file server that gets me revved up is the unRAID system from Lime Technologies (http://lime-technology.com) but the OS is on a USB stick and space on it is limited.
Sooo, what is the size of the sage system, hoping it will fit on the USB stick (if not I can always leave it on one of the multiple drives attached...) and secondly, how hard would it be to get it to work on a Slackware 10.1 distro with the 2.4.29 kernel ? Lime does mention that they pruned the slackware distro until it took less than 64MB so that means that I'd also need to know the dependancies of Sage.
thanks
