I am thinking of dumping windows MCE :bang: and go over to SageTV with MVP extender.
I have a Netgear MP101 network music player on my network working with Tversity uPNP server. I plan to put Sage on the same pc as Tversity and fear that the protocol used to comunicate with MVP will interfere with the uPNP protocol used for the Netgear.
They are both streaming media devices and I believe the MVP is not a uPNP device but uses its own protocol.
Does anybody have a uPNP device working alongside MVP from the same server PC ?

Thanks

OK from my headless server in the basement I served up video to 1 regular SageTV client and 1 MVP client and at the same time a DSM-320 from TVersity that I just installed on the same computer. So you will probably be OK don't think it will interfere with uPnP devices like the MP101 but as I don't have one I can't give you an exact comparison.

Here are the computer specs: http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/showthread.php?p=134775&postcount=2

I use an MP101 with the Twonkyvision UPNP media server (only for music) and it works fine.

Cheers,
