The power button on the remote doesn't turn the media extender off, it only puts sagetv in standby mode (i.e. screensaver, if turned on - if not, takes you to main menu and stays there).
I know it is possible to turn the unit off, because that's what the power button does when using the default hauppauge application. Is it possible to get this functionality while using sagetv in the extender? Not a big deal, but it bugs me a bit that this red led is ALWAYS on.
Edit: nevermind. I just spotted this thread (http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/showthread.php?t=14895) - looks like it's not possible... yet.
