Hooking up PVR-250

Hi,

I just purchased a Hauppauge PVr-250 card today, however, I have no idea how to hook it up to the TV.

Here is my configuration.

- Comcast Cable Box.
- Sony 24" 24FV12 Television
- Mini PC which I've been using to view DVD movies and such.


The question is regarding the connection of the cables. Do I connect the TV to the Hauppauge card or to the Cable box so I can record TV shows?

Connect the cable box to the PVR 250 card. You'll then need an infrared transmitter to change channels on your cable box. OR you can just hook your cable directly to the PVR250 card if you're only watching non-pay non-digital channels.

I'm assuming you already have the Mini PC connected to your TV since you're using it to watch DVD movies. Leave that how it is.
