So I downloaded the file and tried installing it. It opens a window saying it's looking for other software. It switches Windows XP to "Classic" mode, then just reboots and then some scan thing comes up wanting to check my drives. I've had trouble with that in the past, so I aborted. All seems ok, but I'm not trying that again (I've got a 250 gig drive and when Windows scans it it screws up at 137 gig and overwrites your data) Has anyone else had a similar problem, or is today just not my day?
Thanks.

Have you installed SageRecorder before? If not, try download and installing the Java part on it's own first, then installing SageRecorder afterwards.

I have SageRecorder installed, but it's version 1.0. It works fine (save the possible problem I've been having with audio...)
Whatever it was doing when it rebooted my machine, chkdsk did find some things on my OS partition to repair. Again, I don't know that Sage is the problem, but I'm pretty sure it's what made my computer reboot.

This article (http://pcworld.shopping.yahoo.com/yahoo/article/0,aid,109366,pg,6,00.asp) contains info explaining what the requirements are to have a hard drive larger than 137.4GB.

Thanks for the article. Mine is a Maxtor 250. I originally bought a 200 but it crashed about 2 months ago. They replaced it with the 250. Anyway, the 200 had come with an ATA133 controller. I had troulbe getting the drives to run plugged into the controller, but found that I needed the controller plugged in and its drivers installed in Windows.

That's really weird. Haven't heard that before. The only software it looks for to be installed is Adobe Acrobat (not required) & Java (required). 1.4 will auto-install Java after Sage if Java wasn't there.
