This wasn;t getting noticed in the UK forums! ANyone else using the MVP with DVB-T? I'd be intersted to know if it's working for you, of ir it's broken for everyone.

I've just made the leap to Sage 4.1.8 with an MVP and a Terrratec Cinergy 2400i. Sage is able to record from it; I know this as I can play the files in Windows Media Player (they are being recorded on a Small Business Server box, and I haven't yet got playback in Sage working on it; some audio issue).

However, on the MVP I just get a black screen. And some very, very faint sound that I can just hear if I concentrate hard and the volume is on full. Anyone else getting this?

Strange thing is that I can play other files that I recorded with the Hauppauge PVR500 fine. The property is set to say record programme stream rather than transport stream.

I have the same problem with MVP with DVB-T. Was working in 4.1.6 but somthing changed in 4.1.7 and 4.1.8. Have posted this problem in the UK forums under UK Freeview Frequencies. Did see your post in UK forums but never had time to reply. Will submit bug report when I have time.

Are DVB-T files recorded through Sage able to be played back yet in the MVP? I'm wondering if this has been fixed in either of the 5.x releases.

Not sure - I gave up on Sage's DVB-T support, it wass driving me up the wall. Using Anders' network encoder running as a service, and the MVP plays the files back no problem at all. Very robust.

Yeah, me too for now - I use the BDA plugin with no problems at all. Would be nice to have it all under one roof though.
