I rolled my own copy of gentoo in order for support that did not come on the base ISO (software raid, 3ware, better ethernet drivers, etc) and copied the packages off the ISO.

Unfortunately when you guys release a new version, I have to rip the ISO apart each time in order to ugprade. Will you guys ever release the pacakge for sagetv along with what versions of software are needed to support it?

Thanks for all the good work.

Yes, this is already in the works.

in the mean time you can just mount the .iso from sage with the loopback device and untar the sage-specific install piece of the iso.. it unpacks cleanly and just replaces your /opt/sagetv. i just moved my old /opt/sagetv to /opt/sagetv-old and unpacked the new one, copied the Wiz.bin an properties over... viola, upgrade complete.
