Placeshifter license

OK, I have SageTV V5 installed now and just purchased a license for the Placeshifting. However, when I try to connect, it gives me an error that the trial has expired (on the remote PC). Where do I put the license information in for the placeshifter portion? I understand that it is supposed to be entered on the server, but I don't see where. I don't also have to have an "extender" license for this to work do I?

Edit - again, nevermind. I found the register program. I have got to stop working on this stuff at Midnight without enough sleep :)

It is in setup somewhere. I recall seeing it, but not at home right now so can't be more specific than that...

how do u input the license key...there is nothing in Start Menu->Programs->SageTV->.....except sagetvplaceshifter...and no .exe in the sage <dir>
is there a command line string?

Are you looking on the PC where the SageTV server is installed? Placeshifter & extender license registration is done on the server, not on the computer where the Placeshifter is installed.

The placeshifter license has to be 'registered' on the *server* machine that is running SageTV. Look under Start/Programs/SageTV on the server machine. You will see a 'Register Placeshifter license' option. Select it and it will ask for the license key to be entered. Once you enter a valid key, it will accept it and you will quit seeing 'Trial period expired' message on the placeshifter machine.

This is a bit confusing because in SageTV client case, the key is entered on the machine running the client.
