I have ShowAnalyzer working perfectly well on my server with MC, but can't seem to get it to work on my SageTV Client.
I have MC on the Client, and have installed SA on the client, enabled the comskip feature from the video menu in MC. But it just plays the files with out the comercial skips.
I'm sure I'm missing something simple.

You dont' need SA on the client. SA just builds a small .TXT file that the client reads. Are you seeing the commercial breaks in the timeline (they should show up as red)?
I think you may need to use UNC paths to your video directory (at least this used to be true and it's what I do - maybe someone can chime in and let us know if this is still a requirement.) so that the client can read the .TXT files. An alternative is to map a drive letter but it must be the exact same drive/path used by the server. Make sure that your client has permission to see the files inthe video directory (use Explorer for this).
Andy.

That you. Just mapped it over and worked fine.

I have SA set at 20% usage, but when launched by Dirmon, it takes up 100% of the CPU and kills Sage.
Any idea what I'm doing wrong here?
Is it possible to just run SA as a batch.file once in the early morning?

Set the blackout period on DM2 to only allow SA to fire at, say, 2am through 6am. So you'd blackout 0600 to 0200 (in this example).
This will allow SA to run on all applicable files that are around at 2am.
Worked for me.

How many instances of SA are you allowing to run with DirMon?
BTW, that setting in SA is for EACH instance of SA, so if you say, have 3 tuners, and set the resources used by each application (in DirMon) to 33, (assuming that you left the total resources setting in DirMon to 100), then if you happened to have 3 shows that needed to be processed at the same time, SA would consume a total of 60% CPU (20% for each instance)...
Not sure if that might have been your issue.

Thanks you both for you help. Turned out that I have all of my recording on a dedicated drive with no subdirectories. I had checked the "subdirectory" button in Dirmon. For some reason this was the problem. Once I cleared that check box, it worked perfectly.
