My interface seems to sporadically go into crazy mode and drop behind the video. Then it will flicker in every like 1 second. Anyone else have this problem and maybe a solution?

I've got the flickering problem too, only it's a little different (and worse). Mine happens for about the first 10 seconds after you go into Live TV. The really bad part is, it also happens any time you hit the menu button on the remote (menu fails to come up) or any key on the keyboard (command fails). I can change channels, volume and get to the program guide ok, though.

Has anyone else seen this problem? Any ideas on a solution?

I occassionally see this, too. It may be just a side-effect, but it seems to behave better with the CPU (the frontside bus) underclocked.

I am having the same issue. Mine happens every 10 minutes or so and last a couple of seconds. I am currently running sageTVService. It wasn't doing this until I started using the service, but I had to shut down my interface sometimes during playback and I would create a gap in anything being recorded. I switch to the service to prevent gaps but now I am having the flickering problem. It seems that if I restart the computer it solves it for a day or two.

Well, I suppose there's some comfort in knowing it's not just the linux version. BTW, this is the linux forum.
