Best TV tuner

Hi all, Im new to all of this. Im looking for a TV tuner. Want to know what's better external or internal. What model is best for the dollar.

My main purpose for getting up to speed with SageTV is just to catch the shows I keep missing.

Chris, I think you'll be satisfied with either. The Hauppauge products seem to be the preferred and the internal PVR250 will be less costly than the USB2.0 PVR from Hauppauge.

You can get either from Frey in a package that will be cheaper than what you'll be able to find somewhere else.
