When I drag the placeshifter window from my primary display to the secondary display, the video goes black. The On-screen display still works. Anyone else have this problem?

I don't know if this is correct. It is just a guess.
Placeshifter uses Overlay mode to display the video. Overlay mode can only work on one display device at a time.
This may be dependent on your video hardware, or it may be true for all video cards running in overlay mode.

Perhaps check for an updated video card driver. PS does use overlay for playback, but I am able to drag the PS window from one monitor to the other & the video will still work within the PS window after the window gets moved to the next monitor.

It was because I was using "Overlay". Change it to default.

Forgive my confusion (I'm new here), but I don't know what "Overlay" mode is or where to find it. Is it a setting in Sage, or on my Mac?

It was because I was using "Overlay". Change it to default. This topic is about the Placeshifter client, which does not have a choice for the video renderer -- on a Windows PC, it only uses overlay.
Forgive my confusion (I'm new here), but I don't know what "Overlay" mode is or where to find it. Is it a setting in Sage, or on my Mac?The Mac Placeshifter uses OpenGL instead of overlay, so it works a bit differently than on a Windows PC. I'll move your other post to a separate thread so it has its own topic.
