View captioning with Placeshifter?

I posted this question in another thread on the main forum, but it's buried several pages deep so I thought I'd ask in this forum.

I finally got closed-captioning working with my Hauppauge WINTV-150 tuners. I can view the captioning on the server itself, and also on a PC with the Sage Client. But I can't vew captions when watching with a Placeshifter client. Is this a known limitation on placeshifter, or is there a way to make it display captions like the regular client can?

Bump... I'm in the same boat. Have CC working on all my clients, but don't see any way to enable it in Placeshifter.

i'm just now finding the same thing. did anyone ever find an answer to this?

I think the answer is...you can't do it. Not sure what the reason is, but it's a real limitation for my purposes.

have you tried the Caption STVi? it's the only way right now to get CC via the MVPs. I haven't tried it w/ PS yet.
