In light of tonight's transition to Daylight Savings Time...

Having selected "Synchronize System Clock with SageTV Server" in Detailed Setup, I have a couple of questions:

Q1 - Will the SageTV Server transition to Savings Time for all of us (noting that some regions don't do it)?

Q2 - Will the "sync" function properly select the Dalight Savings Time mode on my PC or will it simply adjust the Hour by 1?

When Sage synchronizes the system clock it does it to GMT which doesn't have daylight savings time. Daylight savings time is applied in a local context by your PC's operating system as well as inside the Java virtual machine.

You've got nothing to worry about; I've been through a few of these already. It's sort of cool, look at your EPG, there's no 2am - 3am. And don't worry, it's smart enough to know a show on from 12am - 4am is only 3 hours long....pretty nifty. :blush:
