I need to change the country to Canada - it's now at the U.S.

From the Main Menu, go to Setup -> Run Configuration Wizard -> Set the General etc options. The first screen after that asks for the country. It should have gone through this process when you first ran SageTV.

I'm still missing something. From the Main Menu you say to go to Setup -> Run Configuration Wizard.... I'm thinking you mean click on "Setup", as there is no Configuration Wizard on the Setup Menu. So I click on Setup Wizard ... and I'm taken to the "Source Wizard Summary" menu -- but there are no "General" options there.

Any help would be appreciated.

What version of SageTV are you using, and what STV is loaded?

I'm using Sage TV 2.1. I just downloaded and installed it a couple of days ago. I don't know what STV is. Does that mean Sage TV? Wouldn't that be the same as the version number?

Where did you find 2.1? That version is years old, and you will probably be unable to buy licences for it.

The current version available from Sage is 6.1 (see Andy's link in his footer) -- it is a freely downloadable 15 day demo version...

Wouldn't that be the same as the version number?Why are you starting out with v2.1? As Niel said, you can't buy a license for it. Download the latest version and you will be able to set the country as I indicated above.

I was using 2.1 because that was the Sage version on the Hauppauge card's CD. I have since removed it and am now using version 6, and it is now set for Canada. When I try to set the location (Windsor, Ontario) Sage sets it to Windsor, Illinois.

I'm stumped. I ran the config wizard again and it is definitely set for Canada.

Any ideas?
