I wonder if anyone at SageTV (or general public) can provide some insight into future PVR support for the Mac.
Currently I have an investment in the Miglia TVMax because it was the perfect form factor for a Mac Mini (with regards to building/making a HTPC) and it also supported MPEG-4 Hardware based compression. It's offers up a real nice set of features, of course the bundled software was EyeTV with is woefully pathetic when it comes to being a true HTPC software solution.
I'd love to migrate from my BeyondTV system to SageTV but I just can justify having to purchase yet another PVR Tuner and software just to get the system to run on a Mac.
Anybody got any insight into future PVR Tuner support for the Mac?
Sincerely,
Bivdog
