Sort series by original air date?

Is there a way to sort programs by original air date?

I never watched Law and Order and now i'm kind of getting in to it. I have 50 episodes recorded, but when I try to watch them, they jump all over the story line. If I could sort by original air date, then maybe I'd have a chance to watch them in the order they were meant to be seen.

Is there a way to do this already?

What STV are you using? In the default STV, use the Options command while on the SageTV Recordings menu to choose the sort method.

Wow. This helped me too. I never realized there was an options menu. Mainly because I never programmed it into the remote! This now helps me sort out all the Wonder Years episodes I have recorded. RTFM for me. :rolleyes:
