IR Blaster and Sky+ box

I just got my tuner card working, and my flatmate goes and upgrades to Sky+

We now have a shiny new white Sky+ box with S-video out on the back - woohoo!

But I can't find where to stick the IRBlaster. I have tried all over and no joy. I am using the same code set as regular sky (663), is that wrong?
Is it maybe irda?

I looked all over the net and saw similar questions asked and the consensus seems to be that it works, but I can't get mine to work.

My Sky+ and Sky digibox use different IR codes. You will have to re-learn the remote control again to get the right channel change codes.

I don't know where you stick the IR, I use a usbuirt and it sits about 2 inches in front of the box.
