I just sent a message off to support, so in the meantime, I figure I'll post here and see if anyone else is having the same problem. Here's the story:
Yesterday (1/13/2004 - afternoon) - Everything was working fine, as it has for many months (except for many little SageTV client glitches, but that's a different issue altogether, not worthy of discussion here.)
Tonight (1/14/2004 - 8pm~ish) - I brought my Sage client out of sleep and clicked Live TV ... Nothing. I then went to Sage Guide and found that LiveTV contained NO CHANNELS, leaving only previous recordings up thru about 8pm on the prior evening, 1/13. Thinking it was another client glitch, I restarted the client software and got the same scene. Rebooting the client PC, no help either. Finally, I VNC'ed into the main SageTV server (headless PC w/ 3 tuners, gobs of disk, in basement network closet) and saw that it too was blank wrt. channels available. Restarted the SageTV software there, no dice. Rebooted the server PC, no dice. Finally, it was apparent that my problem was much more insidious than anything I've seen to-date.
The first clue came when I went into the Channel Setup and found NO channels available to configure. I then went into Setup Wizard and tried to reset the channel lineup for each of my tuner cards. The one I had been using for many months (ZIP 80516): 'Comcast Rebuild Lineup Non-addressable Cable Ready, Longmont' was no longer listed. Thinking Comcast went and changed the name, I tried all of the other listings and NONE of them were even close to correct for my area. So, basically, I'm stuck until Sage, Zap2It, or whomever decides to put my EPG back on the map.
Is anyone else seeing similar problems in Colorado? I'm thinking Sage might want to 'cache' all EPGs, so at least a marginally accurate channel lineup could be kept in SageTV's view of the world instead of simply losing all channels to the ether when a lineup vanishes.
Anyway, please let me know if anyone else has seen a problem like this before (and hopefully has a solution.)
