I am trying to get my Sage Client machines to work with Comskip. I found some post that mentioned I need to setup UNC paths on my machine, but I still do not have it working. The Comskip feature does work fine on my Server where I watch most of my TV, but the client is not finding the .edl files. Where do I set the UNC path? on the client? I am also using Sage MC on the client PC's but I am not sure what computer needs the UNC patch and where I need to enter it. Chad

It's actually the server that needs the UNC path set. But if you do it from a client it changes it on the server I believe.

Well I add the unc path on my server, but I still can not get my client to see the comskip file. I can see that comskip is enable on the client, but do not see the commercials marked. Any ideas? Chad

Once enabled you will have it available for FUTURE recordings old ones are in the Sage database with mapped/local drives. You could try moving the recordings to a new location that is only available to SageTV at a UNC share and the database _should_ be updated with the new location. Then you should be able to get the comskip files to show up.

Ohh, that makes sense. Thanks for the help, Chad
