Example:
I would like to install ComSkip for the Mac edition of SageTV Client. I've found the SageTV3 folder to install the STV:
file://localhost/Library/Application%20Support/SageTV/Data/STVs/SageTV3/
My question is, where would I place the JAR?
I created a new folder named "JARs" in the Data directory and placed the ComSkip .jar there, but that didn't appear to work. Is there some other place the Mac version looks for JAR data?
Suggestions appreciated.

Check in Applications - SageTV (View package contents) -> Contents -> Resources. Seems like there is a Java and/or JAR directory in there.

There it is:
SageTV%20Client.app/Contents/Resources/Java/JARs/
Still having trouble getting Comskip working on the Mac client though.
Works perfectly from Mac Placeshifter.

Did you get this working? I just realized that even though I have comskip working from my media extender and PC based placeshifter, I don't have it working from my Mac Client.
I am using SageMC on all my sage installs including the Mac Client, but it doesn't seem to find the comskip files or something.
I read in another thread that you had to make sure that your recording directories used UNC names instead of c:\.... This got my PC placeshifter to be happy.
Thanks

I never got Comskip working on the mac client, so I usually just use Placeshifter as a client. I'll spend some more time with this once the update (~6.3.10) is released.
Following up with the author [JREkiwi] may shed some light as well.
On a side note, ComSkip v1.5.2 never worked for me, so I use v1.5.1.

So, has anyone gotten commercial skip working on Mac? This is the last thing I need to have Mac client WAF where it needs to be...
