The WHS blog has a discussion about the WHS data corruption bug and link to the updated KB.

Personally, I don't put anything in the managed drive pool but music, photos and software. I love my WHS, but I'm not trusting anything critical to it until this bug is resolved.

I run Music, Photos, and DVD Archive folders as WHS shared Sage import directories...no problems here either. I did have about 40 .wma files go bad when I opened them up with mp3Tag and edited the ID3 Tags on the server. After the bug came to light I just do all editing locally.
