Hello All,
I have just received my HD 200 media extender but I seem to be having issues with getting media imported. I have added a folder like this \\severname\Volume1\Video but it does not show any videos (they are all avi files in multi leveled sub folders). The import folders display an 'X' on the folder. This import icon shows up for a few seconds but stops.
The back end file server is a Dlink DNS 323 file server. I can browse and play files if I browse to the files directly.
Is there something that I can try or turn on to get this to work or determine what is wrong?
I have tried folders with music as well and I get the same 'X' on the folder. I have also tried to specifically import only video files and forced rescans.
I did turn on automatic folder scanning and it did start to pick up information but I really do not want to have to do that.
I have upgraded to the latest Beta software and it has not resolved the issue.
Any help would be appreciated.
Doug
