multiple outputs?

Can more than 1 output be active at any on time? Say I want to hook the HD up to my TV via HDMI and hook either the SPDIF or the analog audio output up to my whole house audio amp, can I then use my TV to select what plays and have the stream output from both at the same time?

The 3 audio output choices are: Analog, Digital Bitstream (hdmi & spdif), Digital PCM (hdmi & spdif).

I don't think selecting the audio output does anything besides change between bitstream & PCM, because regardless of what you select, all 3 (analog, hdmi, spdif) audio outputs are always on.
