I finally rec'd my HD200 earlier this week and just now hat the time to play around. I do like the stand alone better than extender mode. One thing I can't find through a search of the forums is accessing the USB hd from my PC.
I've tried static and DCHP, WPA/WPA2, ect. My HD200 is connected to a router and PC is wireless N. I tried leaving the USB drive on the PC but it would hang from time to time so I put it back to the HD200. I get a check your spelling erroe when trying to browse the external HD. I can see the drive but can't explore it?
I may have read another post but haven't put 2 and 2 together for the same issue. All of my shares are set up and I checked my firewall. Even shut it down. USB drive is 2 Hitachi 1TB drives formatted in BIG. I'd like to leave it connected to the USB port on the HD200 and read/write from my PC.
Am I just missing something in my set up?
