View Full Version : .ISO Files: Making More Readily-Available?

Right now I turn on the HD200, abort the auto-connect, navigate to something like "Network File System", navigate the directory structure to my "Movies" directory on the SageTV server, and work my way down the list on-by-one until I locate the .ISO I want to view.
A bit grim if the name starts with "X" or something and/or there are a lot of .ISOs.
My guess is that I'm missing something in the UI where somehow I import those titles (not the files) into a list that appears in the Sage UI?
Correct so far?
If so, is it HD200-specific (i.e. has tb done on each HD200 and is subject to some sort of space limitation on the HD200 hardware?)

On the Sage server set up a import directory.

On the Sage server set up a import directory.Got it. Just point the server to an existing directory and it indexes the contents.
Thanks.

Any idea if this should work with the standalone SageTV (latest version). I have ripped DVDs in .ISO format and Video_TS (.vob) format in the same directory. SageTV adds the Video_TS DVDs to the Video List but not the .iso DVDs. Is there anything I can do to change this?

I am having the same problem. The importer finds the VIDEO_TS directories but does not show the .iso files. Any suggestions? I am using sageTV 6.5.
1.) Exit Sage and or Sage Service
A) Edit the Sage.properties file
B) Find this: seeker/video_library_import_filename_extensions=
C) If not there already add this to end of line: ,.iso
D) Add everything in BOLD above
