Hi everyone
I'm in the same boat, need to know how to set-up hd2000 with uverse. I have a 2-wire modem
The HD-200 in not made to stream video directly from a cable box. It can stream video, picture and audio files from a computer to your tv.
If you want to record TV from your cable box and watch it through the HD-200 then you can use Sagetv Media Center (http://store.sagetv.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=SOS&Product_Code=STVS&Category_Code=SS) software on a computer with an appropriate capture device(TV tuner (http://store.sagetv.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=SOS&Product_Code=HVR1600&Category_Code=HD),HD-PVR (http://store.sagetv.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=SOS&Product_Code=HDPVR&Category_Code=HD),etc.).

This reply may be a bit late in coming, but, yes, they can co-exist. It may not be in the way you'd like, though...
We have U-verse and the HD theater hooked up to a single switch. Then, the HDMI runs from the sage box to the TV, and a separate line runs from U-verse to the TV. You can't record from uverse, but it has its own recorder.
With an HDMI switch, you could have them both feed into the same source, but you can't truly integrate u-verse and the HD theater. If you want that, you're going to need a PC-based solution.
