The HD 200 has Linux running on it. You could get the source for the kernel from SageTV, cross compile a driver for it (if available), and then load the driver on the system. However, the HD200 does not have the software on it, to my knowledge, to actually handle and make use of the card.

That effectively means no, you can't plug a USB capture card into it.

You can plug in a USB hard drive and watch moves that are saved on it.

If you want to record via a capture card, you'll have to put the capture card on a PC and install the SageTV Media Centre software, and then run the HD200 in extender mode to view/schedule those recordings.

Correct. The HD200 is a playback device.
