again, stand alone, latest firmware. when i go to You Tube video and then download the list of vids, and then try to play one it says something to the effect of "cant determine which video to play" or words to that effect. Help!

It is a known issue. It should be fixed with the next beta firmware. If you have a sage server, you can view you tube videos using the extender mode.

You may need to wait upto 24 hours for the HD200 to get the needed updates. See this post http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/showthread.php?p=375130&postcount=23 for more information about whether the HD200 has the needed updates.

I just started setting up my server, do I need to day anything special to play it through the server? This forum (and thus this topic) is for using the HD200 on its own, not connected to a SageTV server. When using the HD200 that way, there is no online video update; you will need to wait for the next firmware for the online video update.

When using the HD200 as an extender connected to a SageTV server, the online video update is automatic and is covered by my post here & the posts after that.

I noticed some posts in the Media Extender community about this issue, but a search here hasn't shown any posts about it.

Whenever I try to watch any videos in YouTube or Google Video, I receive an error message that the HD200 was unable to find the video file to play. It is the exact problem that was described in the other forum over the past couple weeks. According to that forum, a fix was made and was applied to the SageTV software.

I was just wondering when we can expect this fix as standalone users.

Thanks.

FYI: Here is the post I am referencing. I am experiencing these same problems, but I use the HD200 in standalone mode:
