Update to HD200 with HDMI 1.3 ?

I'm not familiar with that forum, seems the simple creation of a subforum for SageTV sparked theories of a new model? Why is that?

Because the site admin (Hi-Jack) said this "The new model will have HDMI 1.3... We are waiting for the arrival of the SageTV model which is expected during next week..."

I don't know this guy, but I have frequented the site. I have no reason at this time to believe him, but I guess one never knows.

Yeah, but the thread asking if there was a new one came out of nowhere as near as I can tell:
"you must have something, jack, or you wouldn't have created this subforum, right???? "

I don't mean to imply anything nefarious, I just hope that it's not a case of him getting an HD200 and incorrectly thinking it's got HDMI 1.3. Mainly it's just surprising, usually other forums aren't the first place we hear about new Sage stuff...

I'd be more excited about HDMI 1.3 and bistreaming if an AVM50v (http://www.anthemav.com/NewSitev2.0/AnthemProduct/AVM30_40_50/AVM30_40_50.html) weren't so darn expensive :cool:

hi-jack created a new forum area called "2009 players: expected!" where he put sub-threads for both the new dvico-6600 and pch-c200 players among others, a common thread being units with the latest chips (e.g. sigma864x, latest realtek, etc)

since he also created a new sub-thread for sage, i thought something new might be up so i asked if the 'new' player had blah, blah, blah............

oh well.................didn't mean to get folks excited about nothing :bang:
