Cannot play YouTube content on HD theatre

Well I love the HD Theatre...plays every type of file I can imagine. I cannot play anything from the online channel utube? I checked for formare updates and I am up to date.

Help!
I wish there was phone support since this is a basic out of the box issue.

The HD200 will need a firmware update to fix YouTube in standalone mode. As usual: when a firmware update is available, the firmware notification thread in the announcements forum will be updated.

Ah, ok....I am having this problem on both my HD-100 and HD-200....I will await firmware updates

(Updated HD-100 firmware just now and it still has error, firmware was 06-2009 I think)

There are STV update & online video update discussions in the SageTV software forum, so see that forum for more help with YouTube videos when using an HD100/200 as an extender. Edit: I see you've already found one of those discussions...

I've been looking for the firmware to fix this but haven't been able to find it - have you found it, SnyperBob, or have you heard of a release date for the fixed firmware?

I've been looking for the firmware to fix this but haven't been able to find it - have you found it, SnyperBob, or have you heard of a release date for the fixed firmware?Are you using the HD200 connected to a SageTV server (extender mode) or on its own w/o a connection to a SageTV server (Media Player / Standalone mode)? This is explained in the extender forums' descriptions at the top of this page and on the forum index.

YouTube is working in the latest firmware (Media Player mode; see the Announcements forum for firmware announcements) or in the latest STV update for extender mode (see the Software forum's sticky about STV updates).

I'm running the beta firmware that's marked 10162009, is there any word on the youtube channel updates that anyone has heard?

I'm running mine in standalone mode, but when I try to select any of the online (not just youtube but all) I get the error "Can't determine file to playback".

Or something like that.
