Does anyone know how to get a audio playlist in M3U format to be recognized by the HD200? I have also tried WPL too with no success. Where are playlists stored? ...The Sage store states that these formats are supported.... Thanks!

I also have the same question concerning M3U playlist.

In the HD200 description is showed that m3u is supported but I did't have success up to now (Playlist formats suppported: M3U, WPL, ASX, WAX, WVX ).

My idea is to use some m3u internet radio playlist and to listen that HD200 like I do today in my Nokia mobile phone.

Somebody has some information about that ?

Thx

I, too, am interested in this and have had no luck. I posted here and even emailed Sage support, with no responses.

Old but might help

I converted everything to m4a and let iTunes manage it now. Much better resuts and works on Zunes, ipod, iPhone, DSi Xbox and Sage.

I have created playlists in both m3u and wpl formats. Both format sets play perfectly in both MediaMonkey and Windows Media Player. The HD200 can see and play my music files. The HD200 will even list the names of playlist files when I browse folders. (I tried placing the playlists with the music files) But I cannot get the HD200 to actually open up and use the playlist files. ( in any format ).

I can create and use a playlist on the HD200, but making playlists is a lot easier in MediaMonkey. Plus, when I back up the computer with the music files, I can back up the playlists too. I don't know where the HD200 stores its playlists -- if I update the firmware some day, will I lose all of them?

FYI -- I am using the HD200 as a stand alone media interface -- I am not running a Sage server from it.

Again, anyone know how to make this work? Thanks!

I researched the older thread that was provided. I tried inserting the UNC network path, no joy. I tired removing the #EXT statements, no joy! If anyone has m3u lists working, could you post step by step instructions? thanks!

Well, no luck on making external music playlists work.

Does anyone know where music playlists created using the HD200 are stored?
I created a simple playlist on one of my HD200s, then I used telnet to try to find what file(s) were created and/or modified. I could not find any.

I was wondering if I could edit the file on the HD200; if the format was compatible with m3u or something.

Anyone know more about this?
