My main server suffered a Boot drive failure. I reinstalled with windows 7.

Some time over a two day period by HD200 stopped seeing the network. It was the same time my server failed. There could be a correlation but i don't think so. My other computers can see the sage but the sage cant see anything on the network

The sage is now no longer seeing anything on my network. There has been no other changes other than the boot drive failing. All shares are named the same with the same passwords. It also will not see a win xp laptop with wide open shares or the other 6 boxes on the network.

All i get is "empty and go back"

This box is really flakey. I am about to pitch this one in the trash.

Any words of wisdom?

Do you get a green activity light blinking? In settings does your HD200 get an IP address? SInce you are now on Win 7 (I'm assuming you were on a previous Windos OS) did you reset the workgroup and userID and password settings for the HD200? Did you configure Win 7 for a Home Network and allowed network discovery? Security is now by default higher than previous Windows OS so you can't just install with the defaults and expect everything to just work. Also check your firewall settings.

Yes i have a link light, in fact my other computers can see the sage, but the sage does not see them.

All computers are in the same work group with a valid IP.

It just wont see the network at all. Not just the freshly reformatted one but any thing. Including a win xp box with a wide open share, a linux box, or a crappy NAS with zero security.

I have also flashed the firmware to beta and back again with no joy.

Could your network cable or jack have gone bad? Try taking it to another network conecction and plugin from there. You can lose 2 wires in a cable connection and still get a link light.

Just a question, you stated the other computers can see the Sage, but the Sage can't see them. By "the Sage", I'm assuming you mean the HD200/HD Theater right? How are they seeing the HD200? Did you ping them using telnet or something? How did you update the firmware? Did you load it onto a flash drive/external drive or did you do it thru the auto firmware update? I'm just trying to get an understanding of what is working and what isn't working.
