Phoenix not downloading backgrounds

Not sure why, but Phoenix fanart isn't downloading the backgrounds anymore. It still downloads the coverart, just not the backgrounds. Any else experience this, or know how to fix it?

This is a total guess and Sean will probably know the correct answer but TMDB is undergoing some changes at the moment so that maybe the cause of your problems (If Phoenix is using the v2.0 api for TMDB or indeed uses it at all, not sure either way).

That is correct... the currently released versions of the tmdb lookup service is using version 2.0 of the api (I have updated to 2.1 in the newest builds, that are not yet released). tmdb recently moved to some new hardware to get better performance, and in doing so they haven't migrated their 2.0 api to those new servers. But it looks like they are working on it.

Here's a quote from a newsletter from Travis Bell, the site owner for tmdb.


The site and API were recently migrated. Everything is up and running except version 2.0 of the API. As of this writing it still has yet to come back online. I will be dedicating this weekend to getting this completed.

My apologies to those who are still using it but there were some unforeseen issues and I was only able to complete the migration for version 2.1. With close to 80% of the API traffic using 2.1 now, let this be a friendly reminder that you should upgrade your app if you haven't already.
